Join us as we meet the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Social Hall. Enjoy a great meal cooked up by our own Springfield Oaks Church men. Be encouraged by the Word of God as it is brought to us by the Men of God around the community. Bring a friend and enjoy the food and fellowship!
This ministry teaches and nurtures discipleship for men desiring to go deeper into the Word of God. Please join us Wednesday mornings at 6:00 a.m. in the social hall for breakfast and enrichment in God’s word !
Led by Hal Jenkins, this ministry began in January 2024 as an outreach to prison inmates desiring to learn about the love of Christ. Our ministry began with 12 inmates and has grown to approximately 40… this is over 20% of the county prison population !! The inmates are discipling on their own in their dorm. We hold “church” as they call it on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. If you would like to participate in this ministry please contact the church office (912) 754-6646.

Each month, a group of caring ladies led by Diane Wegmann and her “side-kick” Liz Zipperer prepare delicious home cooked meals for our cherished seniors and shut-ins. Diane was inspired to start this ministry when she saw the joy in her own parents’ faces when friends came to visit, often with food and other goodies! With the support of her Maturing Disciples Sunday School Class, along with many others, the Friends On Wheels have become one of our most popular ministries. Volunteers are always welcome to assist with the costs, meal prep, and deliveries. Climb on board and help us share the love!!
Thoughout the year we invite girls age 6 and up to join our ladies in special activities and devotion. We lift each other up through fun and fellowship, connecting the ages with special projects, refreshments, and arts and crafts. Check The Messenger and our website for announcements. All ladies young and old are invited to join us!
Throughout the year our ladies assemble together to delve into the Word of God, and to support and encourage each other as we journey to shine with the love of Christ. Check The Messenger and our website for announcements and dates !
All ladies are invited to join us! We will have a small devotion and finger foods (bring one to share). Our next meeting will be held September 17, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in the Marion Edwards Building.
Each year, the Men’s Group holds a golf tournament to support missions. 100% of the proceeds from this annual event support mission needs in our local community as well as “Mission On The Move” programs in Central America and Africa. It takes many hands to pull this event together, won’t you consider how you might help out? This year’s event will be held Saturday, October 26, 2024. Call the church office (912-754-6646) for more information, or check out our web page here …
